Cybersecurity in Infrastructure and Information Networks

Infrastructure and network managers are confronted by a perfect storm of threats: growing awareness of the vulnerability of infrastructure and information networks to cybersecurity breaches, growing sophistication among cyber criminals, recent court decisions limiting the responsibility of CGL insurers for data breaches, and the increasing impact of third party liability on corporate profits. In addition, the North American Electric Reliability Corporation has recently adopted substantially more stringent regulations for infrastructure protection, with which critical infrastructure managers must comply by end of year 2016. Princeton is working with a number of advanced cybersecurity service and equipment providers and with network managers in the US to enhance infrastructure cybersecurity. Princeton wil be a sponsor of the DCOI USA-Israel Cybersecurity Summit in Washington DC, May 18-19, 2016.
