Dr. Yoshinari is responsible for raising debt and equity project financing, as well as development capital for the Princeton Energy Group. She has also taken on responsibilities in other areas of the Company’s activities, including business origination and development.

Dr. Yoshinari is an International Project Finance Specialist who brings over 20 years of professional experience at the International Finance Corporation (IFC), Member of the World Bank Group. As Investment Officer, she promoted investments in emerging markets through numerous country funds, when emerging markets were not a generally accepted asset class for institutional investors. Following a successful launch of this product line at the IFC, she led efforts, during the East Asian financial crisis, to protect IFC’s multi-billion portfolio in Asia, and identified new loan and investment opportunities in the financial sector in Asia. As Principal Strategist for IFC’s largest department, Dr. Yoshinari formulated business plans and sector strategies, as well as asset allocation models.

Most recently, she handled the rapidly increasing loan and investment volume in renewable energy and efficiency projects by partnering with global financial institutions. She has acted as lead transaction manager for an innovative clean technology fund, energy efficiency lease finance facility, and a structured renewable energy project finance program. Projects led by Dr. Yoshinari have been located in China, Thailand, India, South Korea, Malaysia, Russia, Turkey, Mexico, and South Africa among others. She has overseen more than $2 billion in project and structured finance provided to client companies and projects of the IFC. Dr. Yoshinari has been awarded IFC’s highly competitive Long Term Performance Awards for outstanding investment results.

Prior to the IFC, Dr. Yoshinari was employed as staff economist at the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), and provided advisory services in mortgage portfolio management and securitization at Fannie Mae.

Dr. Yoshinari holds a PhD in Applied Economics from Université de Paris-IX, France, a Masters Degree in Public Policy from Harvard University, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) of the CFA Institute. She is fluent in English, Japanese, and French.
